Rapide Bevrachting BV from Werkendam is taking a major step forward by reimbursing 100% of the costs for the Green Award certificate for vessels that structurally sail for us. With this investment, we aim to contribute to a cleaner, safer, and future-proof inland shipping sector together with our partners.
Why Green Award?
The Green Award certificate is the leading quality mark for inland vessels that demonstrably perform better in terms of environment, safety, and quality. Certified vessels benefit from advantages at ports, with clients, and from service providers who actively reward sustainability. By fully reimbursing this certification, we make it more attractive for our permanent fleet to invest in sustainable transport by water.

During a festive gathering, Rapide Bevrachting received the recognizable Green Award logo from Jan Fransen, executive director of Green Award. He emphasized:
