The Open Port Day in Werkendam took place on Saturday, July 4. Rapide Bevrachting looks back on this successful day with great pleasure. During the Open Port Day, we welcomed many visitors to our stand, where they were introduced to our organization, inland shipping, and the logistics sector. The many enthusiastic responses and valuable conversations made it a successful day.
Significant interest in Rapide Bevrachting
Throughout the day, we were pleased to welcome many visitors to our stand at Biesboschhaven Noord. People of all ages took the time to get to know Rapide Bevrachting, ask questions about our activities, and discover more about the dynamic world of inland shipping.
It was wonderful to see the level of interest in our organization and the logistical processes that take place daily in and around the port of Werkendam. The many positive conversations and enthusiastic responses made this day extra special.
A glimpse into the world of inland shipping
The Open Port Day offers a great opportunity to introduce visitors to companies and activities within the maritime sector. At Rapide Bevrachting, our colleagues were also on hand to tell visitors more about our work, the world of inland shipping, and the vital role logistics plays in daily waterborne transport.
During these conversations, visitors gained a better understanding of Rapide Bevrachting’s work and the dynamics of inland shipping and logistics.
Enthusiastic participants in the competition
The competition was also very well received. Visitors were invited to guess how many kilograms of candy were in the jar. There was enthusiastic participation, and the estimates varied widely.
The correct answer? 2.15 kilograms of candy!
